560 6.0 32V in France

Only two 560 SEC 6.0 32V were officially imported in France by Sonauto, the official importer for AMG in France back then.
One was bought new (and hence bought as AMG as new) by the famous French rockstar Johnny Halliday who died in December. It is numbered #1.
The car is said to be displayed at the Retromobile classic car show in Paris next week.

The second one (numbered #2 ) has the Recaro seats in the front.

The ex Halliday car is privately owned and I do not know the owner but as I wrote it will be displayed at the Retromobile auto show next week (but otherwise the car is never displayed and given the number plate, it has not been driven since it has been bought from Halliday, as the number plate itself is unique - HAJ for Johnny Halliday (good timing for first delivery because it is otherwise not possible to choose number plates in France). The second one is also privately owned by a Mercedes enthusiast who is sometimes present at MB Club meetings.
Another deemed AMG 500 SEC was recently for sale in France allegedly also previously owned by Johnny Halliday. It had a body kit and may be a 2V conversion but nothing sure.
For those who do not know Johnny, he was as famous as Michael Jackson around here and a national rock legend. Suddenly many items he alledgedly owned once appear on the market.

As next week is the classic auto week in Paris, with auctions from Artcurial, Bonhams and RM Auctions.

Hallyday's car is owned by a private "collectionneur", he has many very nice cars, not only mercedes, a reál enthousiast. Afaik, he is not intetested to sell it.

There was on the market a 1000sec amg w126, supposed to be also Halliday's car, imo, less interesting. The 1000sec was bought by the specialist who bought my widebody.
