Just a guess but I would bet aftermarket body kit since the gen II style skirts do not look quite right:

Greg, it also has a Gen II bumper/spoiler too. Can't see the front. Wonder if it real, if so, thats extremely rare. My genuine side skirts look identical to the one pictured, also a 2-piece.

Also the Gen2 lower cladding. Worth a closer look or at least the VIN. Would be great if it was actually a CA-legit Gen2 Euro...

My suggestion that this is a body kit is due to Duraflex basing their body kit on a gen II and the seller states this as a1984 500. I bought some side skirts from Duraflex 6 years ago and nearly gave up on fitting them since they were so tweeked out of shape. Look at the second picture and see how far off line the front part of the side skirt is.
