Pretty color. Description states fender flares are copies made from original flares. Looks nice in the pics. Love the 9/10 five spoke wheels on a Gen II body (1991 car) - as nice as the OZ wheels are, they can't touch the five-spokers IMO.

Re: AMG Widebody Tribute - Japan
I've seen that car years ago - what was interesting is I saw the pics well before Henric reproduced the widebody kit - some have inferred the Japanese copies were off of that kit. Not so with this car - as I saw it well before the Phonix was on anybody's mind. The rear fender lip is the giveaway.
For those who remember, the Canada 500SEC widebody that met its demise and was parted out was the same purple color originally.

Re: AMG Widebody Tribute - Japan
Refreshing to see other color schemes and drivable examples.. The huge rise in genuine WB collectibility has only increased the challenge of driving one on a regular basis as it would be a bit of a nail biter.
The kit found on this example is based on the last iteration of the AMG WB styling. The front and rear spoilers are integrated Gen II euro bumpers design. The side skirts have sharper downward angles forward and aft. The rear quarter flares are parabolic rather than compound curves.
One replica that came to market in SD awhile back had this same kit, 3pc OZ and an AMG / Sebring exhaust.
The only Phonix kits that were ever actually installed to my knowledge: the red Gen II example in NY that was modified and messaged to the owner's taste and the Wheeler Dealer Wide Body.
