looking to possibly sell a project I can not finish I bought the car with intentions to be my dream car but another kid and time are hard to find currently. It is a 1984 Mercedes sec 500 AMG that was shipped from Germany early 2000's have all documents the car sat in an enclosed trailer for 10 years as the previous owner died. I bought it and it sat outside for 4 months before going into storage it does need some TLC but everything seems to be intact this is a running and driving car. Looking to see what I can get out of it price-wise For more info please reach out to me

Sorry to disappoint you, but what is AMG in this car besides rear bumper skirt and fake badges?

Hi @jeradem
Welcome. It would be helpful if you could post a pictures of the engine and interior.
If you have any records for the car, look for anything on AMG letterhead.

Nothing AMG here besides stupid badges..
And photo with VIN is perfect - can't read anything (of course you will not find any information about AMG in VIN number in case of W/C126).

Jeradem,
Kuba appears to be correct. All the AMG markings on the car are too new, of an incorrect type, and very much in the wrong places to even presume a possibility that the car has been touched by AMG. You can check the springs for AMG markings, and remove the valve covers to inspect for similar markings. However, at this point it appears to be just a normal 500 SEC with some fake badges added.

Dont drive it with your front right shockie incorrectly mounted (see engine bay pic)
Can't see the left side so that might also be incorrectly installed
