Highlights

THIS... is a 1985 Mercedes-Benz 500SEC, finished in white with an Anthracite interior.

This is a left-hand drive, European-market coupe that's titled in Florida. Reportedly imported in 2000, it's equipped with a metric instrument cluster and the odometer currently displays about 123,400 kilometers, which represents approximately 76,700 miles.
The attached Carfax history report starts in March 2000 and contains several gaps, though it lists no accidents for the given time period.
Factory equipment includes fog lights, a sunroof, wood interior trim, power-adjustable front seats, air conditioning, a cassette player, cruise control, and more as detailed below.
Modifications reported by the selling dealer include 16-inch AMG wheels, a custom exhaust system with a MagnaFlow muffler, an AMG limited-slip differential, and an AMG body kit.
Known as the C126 internally, the SEC was launched for the 1983 model year as the W126's coupe counterpart. While buyers in America were initially asked to settle for the 155-horsepower 380 model, Europeans could order the 500 variant that offered a more powerful engine, and the power disparity helped fuel a lucrative gray market. 500 sedans and coupes finally arrived in America for 1984, and both body styles gained an even bigger V8 for 1986. SEC sales ended after the 1991 model year.
Power comes from a 5.0-liter V8, rated at 228 horsepower and 299 lb-ft of torque. Called M117 internally, it spins the rear wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
