early Wide Body Kit - C126

Digging deep into the AMG Classic reproduction archive…
For those familiar, we commissioned a very limited run of AMG wide body kits well over a decade ago. An early, genuine Affalterbach built 5.4 liter AMG Wide Body was used to cast the molds.
This particular kit differs from the more common later wide body design, specially at the rear quarters. Only the earliest prototype examples were made up of 12 composite pieces, including 4 flared cladding pieces and unique rear flares that start mid flank.
The limited reproduction kits were all sold off but two, the very first one was installed on our very own awarded winning 500SEC and second was held onto as a replacement if ever needed.
Over the years, I have received numerous requests for this kit but unfortunately I have not been able to oblige. Many thanks to those that have reached out and for showing your strong support and recognizing the superior build quality over others on the market.
Today, I take great pride in announcing that AMG Classic has re-commissioned another limited run of this very early AMG wide body kit! This wide body kit will only be available exclusively, here, on AMG Classic.
