Hi guys this is my car and Ebay removed it as I'm an overseas seller? I don't understand but I am going to try an upload it onto ebay again... here is a link to my car for sale on a New Zealand site
http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-ca ... 099556.htm
... I love the car and don't really want to sell it
48hp I love your work on the rise of the Phoenix... beautiful to say the least... I remember you talking about how you purchased bigger lips for your AMG OZ, can you give me the link for that guy. Also where is a good place to get a set of those rims AMG OZ, because if the car does not sell for the right price I think I should keep it and I will want to sell the penta's and go for the OZ and make the car look more like a gen II, my favourite look...
Willing to ship internationally from New Zealand. Immaculate 80's supercar. Left hand drive. Metallic Blue-Black. Built in Germany in 1984, first registered as an AMG Widebody in 1985. Imported into New Zealand from Japan in 2006 at 67,000km (42,000 miles). Built to order in small numbers by AMG. SOHC 5.4L V8 Engine with high lift cams (Mercedes didnt make a factory 5.4L V8 in 1985). AMG headers, steering wheel, white on black instrument panel. Alpaca grey leather interior, AMG lightweight widebody kit -front/rear guards, side skirts, front/rear spoilers, boot lip. AMG 16" Penta 5 spoke alloys (9" front,10" rear), colour co-ordinated to match body colour. Factory tinted windows, heated front seats, sunroof, wooden gear knob, factory mats.
VIN # WDB1260441A179770
Chassis # 1260441A179770
Engine # 117963 12 084502
Transmission # 722311 02 674399
I bought it from the importer for NZ$27,000 (approx US$21,000) in 2009 & have spent in excess of NZ$13,000 (approx US$10,000) over the past 2 years bringing the car to it's present excellent condition. Most of this work has been cosmetic as it is mechanically excellent. Work included;
New fuel accumulator, new Dynatron Immobiliser alarm, new Alpine stereo head unit with Ipod capability to glovebox & new speakers, new front springs and rubbers & rear spring rubbers, new 3" exhaust, centre and rear performance mufflers from Woolf (retained original AMG polished exhaust tips). Aircon antifreeze (air con working - blows hot & cold), extensive respray & rust proofing by Ray Haslar Autohaus - bonnet, front bumper cover & moldings, head lamp wipers, right rear guard, right door, right front guard, side body moldings, boot and boot lip, rear bumper and spoilers, AMG & 5.4L badges (all painting to remove scratches & stone chips - there was and is no rust). Interior - new headlining & sunroof interior lining, repair leather seat side bolsters. Fixed all electrics - passenger wing mirror, front passenger seat, seat back drivers seat. New drivers wing mirror glass, new sunroof seals & boot seals, new sparkplug suppressors & dash lights. Fixed engine vacuum leak, cleaned distributor cap, added fuel system clean, reset fuel mixture.
Brand new tyres all round in March 2011.
Engine runs beautifully, idles flat, sounds great, lots of power. No smoke, oil leaks, body rattles or squeaks. Gearbox great, changes smoothly. Both seat belt presenters work. SOHC engine easier to work on than DOHC models.
Please spread the word
thanks guys

One of very few 5.4 badges in the AMG universe.

Yeah so I have found out by reading though the forms... makes me really want to keep it! what do you think it would be worth in the US?
by the way Love your 107 AMG, just watch a video of you changing gears with the sound of the V8, oh so good. WOULD BE AMAZING if there was AMG sec in manual

The pre-merger AMG market is quite volatile but the more refined AMG wide body examples have seen $25k-$35k USD over recent years here in the US.wyzer wrote:Yeah so I have found out by reading though the forms... makes me really want to keep it! what do you think it would be worth in the US?

Re the manual, yes it is wonderfully lively. Plans to produce a conversion kit has been on the table for quite awhile now but more pressing endeavors have taken precedence. I hope to push forward when $/time allows.
