Any love for W210 AMGs?
Is there enough interest in the pre-merger M119 E50 and E60s to consider a sub-forum?

I'm not an AMG expert but thought it curious that only vehicles 1967-1991 were invited to be listed under my profile when registering. Is there some significance to the year 1991, considering the merger occurred in 1999? Are the W210 AMGs recognized as the last from an independent entity?

True, Daimler-Chrysler became majority share holders in 1999 but Daimler-Benz formalized their cooperation with AMG in 1991 and AMG was no longer just another "independent" tuner making bits for Mercedes vehicles.need2speed wrote:I'm not an AMG expert but thought it curious that only vehicles 1967-1991 were invited to be listed under my profile when registering. That said, we appreciate all things AMG and there is a sub forum for post 1991 vehicles here:

Went ahead and specified the W210 as one of late model designations. Thanks for the feedback!
