Re: 1991 560SEC AMG
Car sold for $55k + 5% premium = $57,750. Nice car with celebrity ownership - Stacey King from the Jordan era Chicago Bulls. Can debate how much the celebrity factor played in this car's selling price. Nice.
30k miles, well known car, maintained. Clearly done by AMG Westmont, but no supporting docs. Rear trunk spoiler removed and trunk lid refinished. No engine mods mentioned but has AMG headers and downpipes, AMG exhaust tips welded to a custom rear muffler box (rust fix), AMG Sebring center resonator, AMG shocks and springs, partial US Gen II body kit (trunk spoiler removed but came with the car), ////AMG Aero I wheels, no AMG interior mods but expensive Sony ES stereo system installed. Given the extent of AMG mods - body kit, wheels, headers/exhaust, suspension I would say the celebrity ownership added $10k to the car's value. Recent (early 2018) low mileage SEC's in stock form brought $35k. Add $10k for AMG mods/stereo and $10k for celebrity ownership = $55k. Just my opinion.
Docs presented showed the estate of the late (young - tragic car wreck) owner showed he paid $20k for the car in 2012 and now sold for $55k. Well sold.
